Zombies 2 is more or less exactly the same as the previous version. In order to unlock each world you need to collect stars by achieving objectives. You have the opportunity to unlock new levels within each world by grinding for in-game currency, a process that can be speed up with in-app purchases. There are several levels within each world, which you play through in order.
